The stair section will calculate and list all stair materials from a few simple inputs.  You can input the height and run in feet or inches of a given stair section, or simply enter the number of steps.  You tell the system what thickness of sheathing you're using, if you're using sheathing, the width of the given stair section or area, and the dimensions of the stringers.  This simple information input supplies you with your stringer, and tread and riser material. You can have the system auto calc 2 x12 treads, (conventional lumber) or pre-fab tread and riser board materials. (You can also auto calc LVL's etc., for stringers.)  The system also auto calc's landing materials.  In addition, you can calc and list stair wall, and balcony wall materials.
